Roger Roger

Accompanied by Raphaël Hamburger, Thomas Jolly and Samy Zerrouki, we wanted to make Roger Roger a hallucinatory and organic experience, mixing a possible evolution of our artificial intelligences with the universe of Fritz Lang's emblematic dystopia "Metropolis".

In this world, information is all powerful. Its embodiment, Roger Roger, is absolute.

Our presenter is a protean material that creates a space of "information" where figuration and abstraction are articulated to speak to both the conscious and unconscious of his viewer.

When he is not information, Roger Roger is a nebulous, fascinating and mysterious material, organic but supernatural, giving the monolithic screens in which he evolves a dimension that is as miraculous as it is oppressive, like the omniscience of a society or a god.

His presence punctuates the story, keeps the viewer informed of recent events, but above all reminds the viewer of the constant presence of this larger-than-life entity, which watches over this sick world.
